The Mission Statement of the World Federation of Hungarian Jews:

To help and support the subsistence of the Hungarian Jewish Heritage all over the word.

To establish mutual understanding and to develop the mutual beneficial and fruitful relationship among the Hungarian Jews living in Hungary, in Israel, and around the world.

To represent the worldwide interests of the Hungarian Jews.

The Goals and aims of the World Federation of Hungarian Jews:

1. We intend

to address the inadequacy and the responsibility of World Jewrytowardsitsbrethrenin Hungary and Israel
to aggregate, safeguard and give over the Hungarian Jewish heritage for the future generations, worldwide.
to clarify and undertake the plight of the poor, sick, and indigent Hungarian Jews worldwide.
to represent the Hungarian Jews interests worldwide in solving the restitution problems:
- Gold train Reclaiming of Jewish personal property
- Community property Reclaiming of Jewish patrimony and assets
- Heirlessproperty The destiny of reclaimed Jewish property and assets
- Cemetery problems Renewal and maintenance of the old Jewish cemeteries in Hungary

2. Statistically, there is an estimation of a hundred thousand Jews living in Hungary, yet only 12,600

identified themselves as Jews in the Hungarian Census. We must help and support the Jewish

heritage among the anonymous Jews in Hungary.

3. Jewish youth must be sponsored in its Jewish culture and religion within Hungary.

Programs include summer camps, education, mutual programs, student exchange programs,

Jewish culture music, cinemas, literature etc.

4. To gain its rightful place amongst the international bodies in order to realize the mission of the WFHJ.
